Yellow Duck Baby's staff ensure the fast and efficient processing of your order , your orders are checked for correct details then imediately given to our manufacturing staff to make your individual gift, once your gift is finished and has past our thorough inspection it is wrapped as a nappy cake or wrapped then placed in its gorgeous white gloss gift box , tied with co-ordinating ribbon then it is passed onto our delivery staff who make sure your gift is well packed in one of our strong white packaging boxes. Once all address details are again checked your parcel is ready to be sent . Yellow Duck baby has two daily delivery times 11 am and 2 pm to ensure your gift is sent at the earliest possible time.
Yellow Duck Baby will make and send your order the same day if order is placed and payment recieved by 1pm . Yellow Duck Baby is fast and efficent at producing your gifts, unfortunately the time it takes to deliver your items is out of our hands, however we are happy to send your gifts via Express Post if it simply has to be there the next day ! This may incure an extra delivery fee depending on size of parcel being sent. Please Phone one of our friendly staff to arrange an express post delivery or add " express post delivery" in the gift card section when ordering, if an extra fee is required one of our staff will contact you with the extra cost. .NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Note ; Express 24hr Delivery is not available to all areas, please ask and we will check if it is available to your area. Some Country areas may take a little longer for delivery. All Express post orders need to be placed by 12. noon. If I buy more than one item, do I have to pay for postage on each item?
No, you only pay postage on one item provided they are all being delivered to the same address. Note: If more than three large items are ordered to be delivered to the same delivery address, & depending where they are to be sent, Yellow Duck Design Pty Ltd may ask for additional postage costs. How will my gift be packaged? All gifts sent out by Yellow Duck Design are securely packaged as described in the product description. The gifts are either packaged in a white gloss gift box or a nappy cake. Nappy cakes are then transferred to a courier packaging cardboard box to allow for safe delivery without any damage to the internal gift. All care and consideration is taken during the packaging process to ensure your gift arrives in the same state as when packaged. Is pick up available?
We offer pick up from our Melbourne based premises by appointment only. We can also arrange same day delivery to suburbs within 5km of our melbourne Warehouse. Please phone or email us to make a delivery or pick up appointment. NOTE: someone must be at premises to receive delivery ! we will not leave gift on door step.
What locations do you deliver items to?
All locations Australia wide. We can also deliver to overseas locations. Feel free to call us on 1300 723 990 or email us for a quote on overseas postage. Do you deliver direct to Maternity Hospitals?
We are based in Melbourne and due to the limited amount of time new mums are in hospital, Yellow Duck Baby sends all deliveries to both Melbourne and Interstate-based Maternity Hospitals by express post. If you are wanting a gift delivered to a Maternity Hospital, we ask that you confirm with the patient how long they will remain in hospital before completing the Hospital delivery address details on checkout. Express Post parcel deliveries are generally next business day (Note: If an order is placed late in the week, the parcel may not be delivered until early the following week when the patient has already checked out. Always confirm how long the patient will remain in hospital or nominate a home address to be sure your gift is received by the recipient). Please call and speak to our staff if you are unsure of any details or you wish to arrange Pick up from our Melbourne ware house .
Can I nominate a different delivery address to send a gift directly to another recipient?
Yes, please ensure you select a different delivery address at checkout. What happens if I’m not at home to take delivery of my item?
A calling card will be left at your door with instructions on how to receive your parcel.
Can I send a gift card to the recipient of my gift?
Yes, Yellow Duck Baby have a beautiful range of unique hand made gift cards which we include free with every order, please include the gift card information in the checkout process and we will ensure a gift card is sent to the recipient.
How safe is it to pay via credit card online?
Yellow Duck Baby uses Paypal for all credit card payments online. Paypal is a fast, safe and secure payment system for all online transactions. If you have any queries about the security of paypal, please visit their website at: www.paypal.com.au
How much longer will my order take to be delivered if I pay via direct deposit?
We do not commence work on any order until funds are received into our bank account. Depending on your financial institutions' direct transfer terms and conditions will depend on when funds are released into our account via direct deposit. It can sometimes take up to 5 working days to clear funds before they are released into our account. Please take this into consideration when paying via direct deposit. PLEASE NOTE: The same situation applies if you are a Paypal customer and have a bank account (not credit card) linked to your paypal account.
Do you use Australian made products in your gift range?
Yes, we always try to source Australian made products when we can. The majority of our suppliers are Australian-based companies but we also source a small range of products from overseas suppliers.
Who designs your products?
We design all of the gift packages ourselves, we also manufacture the majority of the products you see advertised.
Can you create a custom-made baby gift to suit my requirements?
Yes, we can create a theme or custom order for your baby/child. If you would like a gift to incorporate a particular theme, we can create the perfect gift for you. Here are some examples of themed gifts we have thought of: Football, Soccer, Doctor, Pilot, Nurse, Postman, Fireman. Alternately you may be after something in particular which is not a current product. Call or email us to discuss your requirements further. Have a look at our blog to read more about this. Can I have extra details added to my gift ? Yes we can add extra details such as Date Of Birth, Christenening, Weight, Length, Big Brother / Sister, etc onto most of our gifts, depending on the size of the embroidered area. Generally there is no extra cost for this service. Extra details can be placed in the gift card area when ordering or simply email / phone us with the details. Can I add extra Items to my order ? Yes you may add extra items to your order such as teddy's, socks, singlets, baby lotions / soaps, baby wraps etc, if you wish to select an item that is not in our add on selection simply email or phone us with your request and we can add it to your order. EG: gift 1 x baby bear bouquet - add a baby wrap & extra socks . If you wish to add a bottle of champa's to your gift please note the following: The 750 ml Bottle must be added to a gift from the $100.00 plus Range The 350 ml Bottle can be added to the $50.00 plus Range. “WARNING Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence • To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years [Penalty exceeds $6,000] • For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor [Penalty exceeds $500]”
